Orłowo Cliff
One of the best places for a walk by the sea in the entire Tri-City area. You can walk along the beach, see the pier in Orłowo, and reach the cliff, but it's worth sticking to the designated paths — this is a natural, active shore, not a viewpoint "with railings everywhere." A good spot for a peaceful walk, photos, and a break from the city center.
Emigration Museum
The museum is located in the historic Maritime Station at Polska Street 1. It is a good choice for people who enjoy history shown through the fate of people, family decisions, travels, and trips abroad. This is not a "quick visit" attraction — it's advisable to reserve about 1.5–2 hours for a calm sightseeing tour. (

Kościuszko Square and Southern Pier
The most recognizable part of Gdynia in the center: a walk by the water, ships, marina, Gdynia Aquarium, and a view of the port. This is a good place if you want to see the urban, maritime side of Gdynia without long planning.
Gdynia Aquarium
A proven attraction for families and a good choice for a day when the weather is not suitable for beach activities. The aquarium operates seasonally at different times, so it's best to check current opening hours and tickets online before going. (

Kamienna Góra
A short viewpoint near the center. You can walk up or use the free funicular from Grunwald Square. The ride takes about 2 minutes, and from the top, you can see downtown Gdynia, the port, and the bay. (

Gdynia Aquarium A good place for children, especially if they like animals and the underwater world. It's best to check opening hours and tickets before the visit because during the season, the hours differ from winter. (

Experyment Science Center
An interactive science center where children can touch, check, and test various phenomena instead of just looking at exhibits. A good choice for families with school-age children, but also for a day with bad weather. (

Dar Pomorza Museum Ship
A historic sailing ship moored at the Pomorski Quay. For children, it's an interesting opportunity to board a real ship and see what a training ship looked like from the inside. Dar Pomorza was built in 1909 and served for many years as a training ship for the Polish merchant navy. (

A walk instead of an overloaded plan
Gdynia works best without haste: Orłowo, the Seaside Boulevard, Kościuszko Square, the city beach, and Kamienna Góra are places that can be combined into a relaxing day. From Sopot, the most convenient way to get there is by SKM — especially in the season when parking in downtown Gdynia can be less convenient than traveling by train.
